Don Ricaldone racconta dei festeggiamenti al novello Beato Domenico Savio, in cui anche il Papa Pio XII si espresse dicendo “Non abbiamo mai visto tanta folla nella Basilica nè fuori per una Beatificazione”. Comunica la morte Don Berruti. Avverte che verrà spedita a tutte le Case la lettera mortuaria, dalla quale verranno apprese brevi notizie della sua vita e dell’ultima malattia e santa morte. The first nine Salesian missionaries arrived in Japan on 8 February 1926 under the leadership of Fr Vincenzo Cimatti. They were entrusted with the two provinces of Miyazaki and Oita, far away from the big cities, where they succeeded the missionaries of the Foreign Missions of Paris (MEP).

The Salesians landed in Macao on 13 February 1906 to take over the management of a diocesan orphanage and set up a school of arts and crafts, with the aim of expanding gradually into China proper, which they first did in 1911, shortly after the Portuguese republican revolution forced the them out of the enclave.

L’ampliamento della Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice è riuscito, al dire di tutti, non solo artistico e imponente, ma anche e soprattutto devoto. I due altari di Maria Ausiliatrice e di San Giovanni
Bosco sono veramente monumentali. 
Le feste, decorate dalla porpora di Eminentissimi Principi della Chiesa e da numerosi Vescovi, furono una consolante manifestazione di fede e di pietà cristiana specialmente pel numero
stragrande di fedeli che si accostarono in massa ai Santi Sacramenti. Particolarmente cara e graditissima la presenza dell’Em.mo Card. Hlond e di molti Vescovi.
