Il presente volume raccoglie gli Atti del pre-seminario svolto all’Auxilium l’8 febbraio 2003 sul tema: Maria nell’educazione di Gesù Cristo e del cristiano in cui si è avviato un confronto tra discipline teologiche e scienze dell’educazione. Esso si pone come prosecuzione della riflessione sul medesimo tema affrontato in un precedente seminario, i cui Atti sono stati pubblicati dall’Editrice LAS nel 2002.
Il presente volume contiene gli Atti del Seminario di studio sul tema Maria nell’educazione di Gesù Cristo e del cristiano svoltosi presso la Pontificia Facoltà di Scienze dell’Educazione Auxilium nel dicembre 2001.

Dominique est entré dans la vie de Don Bosco durant l’automne 1854. L’apôtre turinois avait alors trente-neuf ans. D’emblée, l’enfant et le prêtre s’étaient compris: Don Bosco put former Dominique selon l’idéal de sainteté qu’il portait en lui. Pendant vingt-huit mois, il veilla sur son âme. Toute son œuvre en bénéficia, car il semble bien que la température spirituelle de la «maison» du Valdocco monta en flèche de 1854 à 1857.
La fragilité naturelle de Dominique s’accrut malheureusement très vite et, le 9 mars 1857, il fut emporté par une maladie de poitrine, à quinze ans moins vingt-quatre jours.

In a very unique way, the women of the Gospels whose stories Francis cites are noteworthy in that they, to varying extents, enjoyed a personal relationship with Jesus himself, and thus with God. Their understanding of sacred love is therefore particularly profound.
L’activité de saint Jean Bosco (1815-1888), fut assurément multiple. Mais elle se concentra en majeure partie sur l’éducation de la jeunesse. Il a formé, en 47 années passées à son service, plusieurs générations d’adolescents et, de surcroît, des centaines de futurs maîtres qui se sont réclamés de ses conseils et de ses exemples. Pour connaître sa méthode pédagogique, c’est sur sa vie qu’il convient d’abord de se pencher.

While preparing pilgrimages and spiritual exercises in Annecy and the neighborhood, I discovered reliable sources among the German and Dutch Oblates of St Francis de Sales. As a consequence of keeping contact with various participants, they invited the undersigned to take part in the annual meetings of their Arbeitsgemeinschaft (“study group”) in Eichstätt, Germany.
In many a document the Church has defined the nature, goal and elements of youth ministry and has included it neatly in the methods of evangelization in its different stages. We can proudly say that the Salesian educative-pastoral plan has been, and continues to be, in line with the Church’s evangelizing mission.
The following four-part article has as its objective a particular aspect of Don Bosco’s charism: the spiritual accompaniment of the young. This theme, which is very relevant for today, is significant since it is fundamental to Don Bosco’s educational system and it is a characteristic of us Salesians, as accompaniers of the young.
The theme of this reflection, entitled: “Encounter of the Salesian Charism: South Asian Context, is self-explanatory. Drawing out its implications, the topic can be articulated in three focal points, implied in the very title, that is, “Salesian charism,” “South Asia,” and finally, the issue of the “Encounter…”.

L’analisi di temi ricorrenti nei sogni è inaugurata dal saggio di Roberto Carelli che studia i sogni connessi con la missione di don Bosco nel sacramento della Confessione. Sulla scorta di una solida riflessione sul mistero del male e sulla sua oscurità, che rende impossibile ricondurlo a una logica delucidazione, l’autore mostra la pertinenza teologica della simbolica del male e della pedagogia della virtù che si dispiega nelle visioni oniriche del prete di Valdocco e la peculiare pedagogia sacramentale entro cui gli insegnamenti morali presenti nei sogni trovano la propria originaria e plausibile collocazione.
