The first edition of Il giovane provveduto (in English The Companion of Youth) appeared in 1847 and was Don Bosco’s greatest publishing success. The year he died it had reached its 119th edition. Marcella Farina – Nell’esultanza dell’Eucarestia e di Maria per una mistica apostolica-educativa al femminile
Il saggio è un tentativo di rilettura del mistero di Cristo in prospettiva eucaristica esplicitando alcune linee apostoliche educative coniugate con alcune istanze emergenti dal femminismo contemporaneo più propositivo. Dopo una breve riflessione epistemologica (Un pensare nell’esultanza di generazione in generazione), si considera il mistero dell’incarnazione (Il verbo fatto carne nutre di sé l’umanità), la vicenda missionaria (Abbiamo solo cinque pani e due pesci) e il mistero pasquale (Nella Cena il banchetto universale) di Gesù; si conclude proponendo un compito da svolgere nella direzione della carità/maternità simbolica.
