Questo saggio intende offrire alcuni risultati di una ricerca personale riguardo al Capitolo Generale ( = CG 1 ) della Società Salesiana, celebrato a Lanzo Torinese nel 1877.

La Famiglia Salesiana della città di San Severo, guidata dalle Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice, ha voluto celebrare la presenza educativa salesiana nella provincia di Foggia, prendendo spunto da un ideale centenario dell’opera della congregazione salesiana in San Severo, che ha avuto inizio nel 1905, ma che in realtà si è conclusa nel 1969.

Estas memorias fueron escritas clandestinamente en el campo de concentración de los religiosos de Podolínec en Eslovaquia oriental. En el año 1950. Durante la así llamada “noche bárbara”, del 13 al 14 de abril de 1950, la policía checoslovaca comunista irrumpió en un centenar de casas de religiosos, obligándolos a subir, llevando lo más imprescindible, en unos autocares preparados para la ocasión, que los transportaron, custodiados por policías armados, a diversos campos de concentración. Poco después los condujeron al campo de concentración central de Podolínec. De este modo, más de mil ciudadanos libres se convirtieron en una noche en prisioneros privados de libertad. La Pia Società Salesiana nel passato autunno celebrò il suo decimo Capitolo Generale a norma delle proprie Costituzioni e di speciali disposizioni di cotesta Sacra Congregazione. In detto Capitolo, fatte le elezioni prescritte, si presero in esame le varie deliberazioni dei Capitoli Generali precedenti, e con regolare procedimento vennero determinate e fissate quelle che si debbono ritenere come organiche. A queste se ne aggiunsero altre poche nuove, richieste dalla recente erezione canonica delle Ispettorie, ossia Provincie, e di varii Noviziati. Among these topics, one that particularly stands out, linked to our ongoing renewal, is “Salesian spirituality and ecclesial Movements.” This topic presents an opportunity for reflection that can deepen our identity and, in some cases, steer us away from deviations.
