Il tema del CG26 è unitario, anche se articolato in nuclei tematici. A prima vista può sembrare che il CG26 abbia trattato di cinque argomenti diversi; in realtà si tratta di un unico tema: il programma di vita spirituale e apostolica di Don Bosco.
