Il tema degli studi femminili in Italia non ha una lunga storia. Quello degli studi compiuti dalle religiose ancor meno. È in buona parte inesplorato per vari motivi, tra cui quello delle fonti non sempre curate, né complete.

This evaluation focuses more on the content than on the methodology. The seminar helped to improve knowledge of the situation as far as content is concerne which was very interesting.

On 6 February l922,Pius XI (1939) ascended the Papal throne: he would become known as a “Pope of the Missions” (as was his predecessor, Benedict XV). Two months later, on 24 April, Fr. Filippo Rinaldi ( 5 December 1931) was elected Rector Major: his ten years in office would be recalled for the great re-launching of the Salesian missionary movement. Il libro contiene cenni storici riguardanti la vita del chierico Luigi Comello, scritti da Giovanni Bosco, suo “collega”. Lo scritto era indirizzato ai seminaristi di Chieri, luogo in cui lo stesso Comollo visse, affinché potesse servire loro come modello.
Armando Cuva – “La pietà liturgica di Don Bosco” in “Salesianum”
Don Bosco, grande educatore cristiano dei giovani, volle la religione tra i fondamenti del suo sistema educativo. Nell’ambito della religione il Santo diede una grande importanza alla vita di pietà. La inculcò insistentemente con la parola e con gli scritti. Seppe soprattutto dare il suo convincente esempio.

And so the main object of our reflections will be the figure of Don Bosco, a figure we shall try to make contact with, not so much to understand his external actions which we all know about already, but rather to understand the conditions, the motivations, the spirit which led him to make specific choices, to work in a specific way, to write about particular matters, to reach a particular form of holiness which is specifically his own, different in some ways from that of other saints.

Il Progetto Educativo-Pastorale Salesiano (PEPS) è stato uno dei temi centrali del ripensamento postconciliare della missione salesiana. L’importanza del progettare riflette un cambio complesso di accentuazioni, avvenuto negli anni del dopo Concilio, da un’educazione fedele ai modelli del passato e spesso ripetitiva verso un’impostazione critica della pedagogia che guarda al futuro.
