La prassi nasce all’interno della pastorale universitaria dell’Arcidiocesi di Torino in sinergia con la Caritas Diocesana, le istituzioni accademiche del territorio civili e religiose, le istituzioni politiche (Città Metropolitana) e il Centro Servizi per il volontariato. La finalità dell’azione è molteplice ed ha diversi piani: da un lato l’educazione dei giovani attraverso il contatto diretto con la fragilità variamente declinata ed incontrata, dall’altro l’implementazione negli enti che per missione stanno accanto alla fragilità delle competenze e della capacità innovativa dei giovani studenti universitari. Ulteriori finalità e motivazioni sono il dialogo e la collaborazione con le istituzioni coinvolte creando così un clima di fiducia reciproca e collaborazione foriero di nuove possibilità di azione pastorale. In a very unique way, the women of the Gospels whose stories Francis cites are noteworthy in that they, to varying extents, enjoyed a personal relationship with Jesus himself, and thus with God. Their understanding of sacred love is therefore particularly profound.
MaryJo Leddy explained that in her act of accompaniment with many of the young adults assisting in her ministry to the refugees, she found herself taking a lead from them. She has found a voice of conscience and concern in this generation. She is touched by their thirst and hunger for holiness and authenticity.
Francis de Sales’ use of imagery is an acknowledgment that reason alone is insufficient to plumb the mysteries of God’s love and certainly, unable to stimulate us to respond to the passionate love of God.
La povertà in se stessa non è una virtù; essa una legittima conseguenza della colpa originale, destinata da Dio all’espiazione dei peccati ed alla santificazione delle anime. E’ quindi naturale che l’uomo ne abbia orrore, la consideri come una sciagura, e faccia quanto sta in lui per evitarla. La povertà diventa una virtù solo quando è volontariamente abbracciata per amor di Dio, come fanno coloro che si dànno alla vita religiosa.
