Capitolo Generale dei Salesiani di Don Bosco – Salesiani e laici: Comunione e condivisione nello spirito e nella missione di Don Bosco
Con questo numero degli Atti vi giunge l’abbondante materiale elaborato dal CG24. Vengono così promulgate, a norma delle Costituzioni (cf. art. 148), le deliberazioni contenute in due documenti: quello più ampio che riguarda la comunione e condivisione dello spirito e missione di Don Bosco da parte di salesiani e laici, e quello che riporta le modifiche alle Costituzioni e Regolamenti generali e altri orientamenti sul governo della Società. Vi sono poi, allegati, testi altrettanto importanti per comprendere il momento che vive la Chiesa e i traguardi che la Congregazione si propone oggi.
Capitolo Generale XX – Capitolo Generale Speciale della Società Salesiana
Il Capitolo Generale Speciale, per dare sostanza e fondamento al Rinnovamento richiesto dalla Chiesa e per tanti aspetti imposto dalla profonda evoluzione avvenuta nella società, ha voluto rivedere in profondità la nostra identità alla luce delle realtà di oggi, secondo le direttive della Chiesa Conciliare. Questo Capitolo è stato un grande evento spirituale ecclesiale e salesiano di straordinaria importanza nella storia della nostra famiglia, un fatto di larghissima collaborazione responsabile. Guardando indietro, mi pare di poter dire che, malgrado le deficienze, le debolezze e gli errori, frutti dei limiti dell’uomo, il nostro Capitolo è stato permeato di Spirito Santo. Non era certamente un compito semplice da affrontare: se ne ebbe sempre chiara la coscienza lungo tutto lo svolgimento.
