Pascual Chavez Villanueva – Project of Apostolic life “ad experimentum”

This document presents the renewed Project of Apostolic Life for the Salesian Cooperators, officially promulgated on April 8, 2007, by the Rector Major. Approved ad experimentum by the Apostolic See, it serves as the spiritual and organizational guide for members, encapsulating their identity within the Church, the Salesian Family, and society. The updated Statutes and Regulations reflect fidelity to Don Bosco’s original vision while incorporating the insights of Vatican II and the Church’s Magisterium. Not merely juridical or doctrinal, this “book of life” is meant to be studied, lived, and interiorized. It defines the Cooperators’ path to holiness, their apostolic mission, and their communal structure, with the Regulations offering practical implementation. The document invites all members to embrace it with gratitude, as a precious expression of their Salesian calling, under the maternal guidance of Mary Help of Christians.
