Lavinia Formica – Giovani: promotori dei diritti umani alle nazioni unite

Il contributo presenta la significativa esperienza dello stage formativo nell’Ufficio di IIMA, che rappresenta l’Istituto delle Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice e il Vides Internazionale a Ginevra. L’Ufficio dei diritti umani di IIMA promuove l’attivismo e l’empowerment dei giovani per raggiungere l’obiettivo di “Educazione per tutti”. La missione coinvolge giovani con diversi background e conoscenze. L’esperienza è rivolta a studenti o laureati in uno dei campi attinenti al lavoro dell’Ufficio (per esempio relazioni internazionali, diritto internazionale, economia internazionale, scienze politiche…) che dimostrino un chiaro interesse per la tutela dei diritti umani. Jose Kuttianimattathil – The preventive system and child rights more than a tool for working with children with behavioral difficulties

The Salesians, who have been applying the Preventive System since the time of their Don Bosco, have understood it mostly as a method of education. However, when we re-read the Preventive System from the perspective of rights, we realize that it is a Child Rights friendly system. We see ingrained in it many of the Child Rights.
