The article speaks about Don Bosco’s Constitutions, and the acts of the 3rd and 4th General Chapters. In both of these documents, there are material on the identity of lay members of the Society, and of “coadjutors”. Then it speak about the “successors of Don Bosco”: the rectorate of Fr. Rua, Fr. Ricaldone and Fr. Rinaldi.

Il seguente elaborato analizza gli articoli ed i suoi rispettivi contenuti, dopo la riforma di rinnovamento spirituale portata dal Concilio Vaticano II e del dopo- Concilio.
Il Progetto si propone come obiettivo di approfondire la dimensione biblica delle Costituzioni della Famiglia Salesiana commentando non i testi biblici inseriti all’inizio dei singoli capitoli o nel «corpo» degli articoli, bensì i principali temi biblici presenti nelle Costituzioni. Partendo quindi dal testo costituzionale, che tratta di un certo contenuto, i collaboratori sono stati chiamati ad evidenziarne lo sfondo biblico, in modo da illuminare meglio la vita salesiana alla luce della Parola di Dio.
This number of the Acts brings you the abundant material resulting from the GC24. In this way too are promulgated, in Iine with the Constitutions (C 148), the deliberations contained in two documents: the longer one concerning communion and sharing in the spirit and mission of Don Bosco on the part of Salesians and laity, and the other one which carries the modifications to the Constitutions and General Regulations together with other guidelines on the government of the Society.
I present to you the Acts of the GC23, with their rich contents for the guidance of our life and apostolic activity. In them is collected together the official documentation of the Chapter’s work: i.e. the document on educating young people to the faith; the modifications or additions concerning the Constitutions and Regulations; practical interpretations of some texts from the Rule; deliberations regarding the grouping of provinces; a practical directive for our presence in Africa; a brief chronicle of capitular events; and the “Letter to Youth” that the Assembly asked for from the Rector Major.
